Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey Game
Situation:
Each year local police and firemen host a charity hockey game called Guns & Hoses.
Objective:
Promote event with WYYD with the goal being to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Results:
We had another sellout crowd with over 7,3000 people coming in to pack the Berglund Center and watch the game. We were able to raise our highest amount of $44,580 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This brings our 15 year total to $332,900. A total of 69,881 people have attended the games, and countless numbers have visited the website and facebook page. Downtown Lynchburg is currently undergoing a revitalization with new areas being reconstructed.
Objective:
WYYD to partner with Downtown Lynchburg Association to promote business and commerce growth in Downtown Lynchburg.
Results:
